Coming from Quebec, Jessica Latouche is considered one of the most promising emerging artists. Gift by a broad and agile voice, she collaborates regularly as soloist with major choirs and ensembles of the region, as well as abroad.

The soprano is now doing a doctor degree in singing performance under direction of International Baritone Jean-François Lapointe and organist and professor Richard Paré, at Laval University.

Last May, we appreciate her during her debut at Opera de Québec, with the role of Anna (Nabucco), conducted by Giuseppe Grazioli, and during the Super Flumina Babylonis (Fauré) with Orchestre symphonique de Québec (OSQ) conducted by Fabien Gabel.

Recently, she sang during concert «OSQ sur le campus» with Orchestre symphonique de Quebec ; during a China Concerts Tour organized by Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques of Canada and Hebei Silang Performing Arts Agency ; in Belgium, where she sang at Conservatoire Royal de musique de Bruxelles with Brussel International Singers ensemble and the Musica Ficta Ensemble ; in prestigious hall Dupréel (Brussels) with orchestra I Musici Brucellensis, conducted by Maestra Zofia Wislocka ; during Magnificat (J.S. Bach) and Eternal Light, A Requiem (H. Goodall) with Ensemble Polyphonia of Quebec ; during Les Sept paroles du Christ (T. Dubois) and Messe en mib (O. Létourneau) with Le choeur de Québec ; during concert with Symphonic Orchestra of Laval University ; during concerts «Viennoiseries III» and  «Tchaïkovsky et les Russes à l’apéro» Festival d’Opera de Quebec 2018 and 2019 ; with OSQ for creation of Hymne d’espoir.

At opera, she performed roles of Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Micaëla and Frasquita (Carmen),  Clotilde (Norma), Écho (Écho et Narcisse), Giunone (La Calisto), Dorabella (Cosi fan tutte), and  the  Princess  (La  princesse  au  grand  nez ).

Upcoming engagements for 2019-20, include rôle of Blanche de la Force (Dialogue des Carmélites) at Laval University ; role of the Queen of lily (Peau d’âne) with La Relève musicale of Quebec ;  roles of Sandmännchen and Taumännchen (Hansel und Gretel) with Tempêtes et Passions company ;  the Stabat Mater  of Pergolese and Vivaldi (arr. for soprano, alto and choir), and at the concert "De passage en paysage" with Les Rhapsodes choir ; Concert "l’Opéra s’expose «  product by Opera Plus company.

Jessica Latouche won the first place of Concours solo avec orchestre Canimex of Music Faculty of Laval University 2019, won the voice category of prestigious Concours Prix d’Europe 2015, and obtain scholarships of Fondation LOGIQ and CALQ, both in 2017. She participate to many summer programs and masterclasses.
